The Manhattan Mayor’s Christmas Tree was blown down on Thursday due to high winds.
The iconic tree is decorated each year in Triangle Park near Aggieville as part of the city’s Christmas celebrations following the Mayor’s Spirit of the Holidays Lighted Parade.
The city tweeted on Thursday that the tree had been knocked over due to wind.
They said the Forestry Department will remove the tree.
The city commission will decide what they want to do about the tree, the city tweeted.
No one was injured.
