We are starting off Saturday clear and calm. We’ll stay clear through the day with highs near 60 this afternoon, though we will have a breeze out of the west at 10-15 mph. This is shaping up to be a much more comfortable Saturday than last, thanks to the lighter winds.
Nearly cloudless skies continue overnight with temperatures falling back into the 20s for a chilly start to our Sunday. We see just about as much sunshine tomorrow, but temperatures are bumped down into the mid 50s. Monday is once again mostly clear, maybe a few more passing clouds than this weekend, but we are still comfortably cool with highs in the low 50s.
Tuesday, a chance for showers enters the picture. While some of our western counties could get a few wet flakes early on Tuesday, we are really just looking at a chance for scattered showers during the day as this system makes the move through northeast Kansas.
We clear out nicely on Wednesday. The set up for the end of the work week is even more mild than the first half. Highs rise into the mid 60s and lows into the upper 30s by the time we get to Friday! Can you smell the arrival of Spring?
