Jayhawks defeat South Dakota in home opener

LAWRENCE (KSNT)- The University of Kansas football team is celebrating a 17 to 14 win against the South Dakota Coyotes in the season opener Friday.

This is the first game for the Jayhawks under new coaching staff with Lance Leipold after Les Miles parted ways with the university.

The Jayhawks will play Coastal Carolina on Sept. 10.
