Hanover wins eight player state title

NEWTON, Kan. (KSNT) – The state title is back in Hanover. The Hanover Wildcats defeated St. Francis 46-24 to claim the Class 8 Player DII championship. Hanover started the game falling behind 12-0 but quickly recovered. Hanover last won the state title in 2018. The state title is the sixth for head coach Matt Heuer.

The Wildcats finish the season a perfect 11-0.
