Report: Former KSU star Wade agrees to multi-year NBA contract

MANHATTAN, KS. (KSNT) – Former Kansas State basketball standout Dean Wade is now a fulltime member of the Cleveland Cavaliers. According to a report from ESPN, the Cavaliers have converted Wade’s two-way contract into a multi-year deal.

The St. John, Kansas native spent most of last season with the Cavaliers’ developmental team in the G-League where he averaged 14.2 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. Wade also appeared in 12 games for the Cavaliers in the NBA.
