What We’re Tracking:
- Less humid through Thursday
- Drier toward the weekend
- Warmer with possible t’storms Saturday to Monday
The severe storms Tuesday afternoon and evening confirmed two tornadoes that touched down within the viewing area. There was quite a bit of damage that came along with these storms and the National Weather Service is continuing to survey damage to asses the severity of the tornadoes.
We’ll stay calm as we head into the overnight hours with low temperatures dropping down into the mid 50s as we’ll remain cloudy.
Thursday looks to be a bit more promising with the sun returning and high temperatures topping out in the middle to upper 70s.
To end the work week, Friday will be very similar to Thursday with more sunshine and warmer temperatures creeping up into the low 80s.
We’ll stay dry as we close out the month of May but, there is another chance for some isolated showers and storms this weekend that we will continue to monitor throughout the week.
