Clear skies tonight put us back in the teens for a chilly morning on our Thursday, but extended sunshine continues our warm up from the cold start to the year. Tomorrow afternoon we are back up near 50 for highs. And with high pressure setting up into the weekend, we see continued sunshine and a return to the mid 50s for a pleasant weekend.
A few more clouds roll in on Sunday, and a system moves through Monday, bringing in a chance for some showers as moisture returns to northeast Kansas. This only lasts for a day though as our Tuesday and Wednesday look to be on the dry side once again. Fortunately, there won’t be as strong of a cold front with the system on Monday, so highs have no problem sticking around 50 through midweek.
